The agency has an obligation to notify PASS when bargaining unit members are detailed outside of the bargaining unit and when new employees are hired so we may be present at employee orientation. This request concerns several specific employees where the agency may not have provided the correct notice to PASS.

There is increasing concern among members in Alaska that there is no comprehensive plan to maintain staffing in Alaska to the levels agreed to at the end of the Alaskan Region CMP program. PASS has requested information from the agency to substantiate if agreed upon staffing levels are being maintained.
