PASS Statement on Election Results
Mike Perrone, president of the Professional Aviation Safety Specialists, AFL-CIO, the union that represents over 11,000 employees at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), released this statement regarding the 2016 elections:
“PASS congratulates all those who were successful in this year’s elections. PASS represents men and women who work every day to keep this country’s aviation system safe. Our members are federal employees who have chosen to devote their lives and careers to the public good.
“We will work with the Trump administration to continue ensuring a safe and efficient aviation system. The National Airspace System is one of our greatest treasures, and its protection should be our greatest honor. We will never cease in our commitment to making sure our skies—and all those who fly—are safe.”
