Results of PASS National Elections

Today, the Professional Aviation Safety Specialists, AFL-CIO (PASS) is announcing the results of the election of the union’s national leaders. Both Mike Perrone, the current national president, and Rich Casey, the current national vice president, were successful in their bids for reelection.

“I am thankful to the PASS members for this sign of support and look forward to another productive three years,” said Perrone.

“There is a lot of work ahead of us,” added Casey. “I know we can continue building a strong PASS representing the interests of all our members.”

The remaining positions on the PASS Executive Board were all contested races. The election results are as follows: Luke Drake will continue to serve as Region I vice president; Dave Spero will continue to serve as Region II vice president; Joan Matthiesen will be assuming the position of Region III vice president, replacing the outgoing Region III Vice President Dennis Cherwinski; Michael Gonzales will be serving as Region IV vice president, replacing the retiring Region IV Vice President Linda Goodrich; and Robert Abbott will continue serving as Region V vice president. The new term officially begins October 1.
