Aeronautical Center Notifications Now Available

Thanks to the efforts of PASS working with Aeronautical Center leadership, personnel and students at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center may now opt-in to receive email notifications and/or text messages to any SMS-enabled phone regarding various events and emergencies that occur at the Aeronautical Center. This has been an area of concern for some time now and PASS has worked to bring attention to the issue.

PASS encourages Aeronautical Center personnel and students to click here to sign up to receive important announcements and notifications specific to the Aeronautical Center. Once you access the link, you will have the option to choose between email and SMS/text message under the “Subscriber Type” pull-down tab. Once you enter a valid email address and/or SMS phone number and it has been confirmed, you will have the ability to check the subscription topics for which you wish to subscribe under the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center group. There are currently four topics that can be selected: Emergencies/Notifications; Severe Weather; Center Status; and FAA Academy. If more subscriptions may be added in the future, you will be notified. Please note that if you wish to opt-in to both email and SMS messages, you will need to complete the process twice.
