Support Federal Employees: Wear Red For Feds July 25

Federal employees and their unions have been under sustained attacks from many quarters, including the administration and Congress. On July 25 in Washington, D.C., lawyers from several unions representing hundreds of thousands of federal workers will be arguing their case in court against the three executive orders issued in May that undermine 40 years of civil service law.
 
On that day, the largest of these unions, the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE), is hosting a rally and picket in D.C. and across the country: #RedForFeds. PASS, on behalf of its 11,000 members at the Federal Aviation Administration and the Department of Defense, fully supports these efforts.
 
As they fight it out in court, PASS, AFGE, the Union Veterans Council and other federal unions are calling on members and allies across the country to participate in a nationwide show of solidarity and support for federal government workers by wearing red to work on Wednesday, July 25, 2018.
 
Federal employees serve their country 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. These dedicated men and women are proud to work on behalf of the American public. They deserve our respect and gratitude.
